How to Create a Poll in Microsoft Teams
Learn how to create a poll in Microsoft Teams chats, channels, and meetings, choose response settings, review results, and close voting.
To use Google Meet screen sharing, join a meeting and choose Present now on a computer or More > Share screen in the mobile app. Select your content, approve the sharing prompt, and start presenting. Personal Google accounts and Workspace accounts can share, although meeting hosts or administrators may restrict access.

Share the smallest area that covers your task. This makes it easier to keep unrelated information private.
| Option | Best for | What participants see |
|---|---|---|
| A tab | A website, online slides, or browser video | The selected browser tab |
| A window | A document or desktop application | The selected application window |
| Your entire screen | Demonstrations across several applications | The selected display, including visible notifications |
Before presenting, open your content and silence notifications. Avoid sharing the Meet window itself, which can create a repeating mirror effect. Google recommends an updated Chrome browser for the fullest screen-sharing functionality; options in other browsers can differ.

To move a presentation to another Chrome tab, open that tab and use Share this tab instead in its sharing banner when available. Google's meeting controls guide explains the desktop workflow.
Yes. In addition to tab audio, supported computers can share device audio while presenting a window or entire screen. Enable Also share system audio in the source picker. Google lists Chrome 142 or newer with Windows 11 or newer or macOS 14.2 or newer as the requirements. System audio sharing is off by default.
It is unavailable when your device's audio is merged with others through Adaptive Audio; tab audio remains an alternative. See Google's device audio sharing announcement for requirements.
Use the Google Meet app. Before sharing the whole phone screen, close private content and enable Do Not Disturb or Focus to reduce notification interruptions.

If Meet offers a share-audio checkbox in its presentation prompt, enable it when needed. Availability can depend on the device; Google also notes that muting your microphone stops shared mobile audio. Check the official instructions for Android screen sharing or iPhone and iPad screen sharing.
For persistent problems, update your browser and operating system and consult Google's screen-sharing troubleshooting guide and known issues and workarounds.
